Improve brain health with Virtual Reality

Enhance VR is a library of VR games designed by Virtuleap neuroscientists as translations of standardized neuropsychological assessment tools like the Stroop Test and the N-Back Task into 3D rendered environments that test and train a range of cognitive abilities. Not only just including our memory, task switching, problem-solving, and information processing skills, but also our motor skills, spatial orientation, and spatial audio awareness, and we make all that data accessible through our enterprise platform.

Enhance VR addresses therapeutic areas relating to cognitive disorders, i.e. ADHD, autism, schizophrenia, MS, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Cognitive disorders have a very high cost to society, both in terms of impacting the quality of life of over 419 million people around the world, as well as the cost to the economy. Alzheimer’s disease alone costs $1 trillion globally, it’s the most expensive disease in the US, costing $305 billion to the economy, with American households paying 30% out of pocket. There’s no cure. There’s no solution. All we can do is hope it doesn’t happen to us, and if or when it does, drugs can only mask the symptoms.

The amount of data that we collect with Enhance VR is unprecedented, just 3-minutes of playing our games generates volumetric datasets that combine granular levels of player interaction with rich full body sensory data that we are using to create a new digital health marker for the early detection of cognitive disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.
