Dr. Marco Sacco, Research Director, Head of the CNR-STIIMA branch in Lecco (“Human-Centered Living Environments”).

Vice President of EuroXR (European Association of XR Technologies) with proxy for EU and collaboration issues. His experiences (since 1994) concern XR technologies (VR/MR/AR) applied both to the product/process/factory life cycle and to the health and well-being sectors.

Cluster Manager for the TechforLife Foundation (Technological cluster of the Lombardy Region in technologies for living environments).

He has been coordinator of European (two of the largest EU projects in FP-VI and FP-VII) and national/regional projects. He has participated as an expert in various boards both at European and national/regional level for the evaluation of research and development projects.

He has over 180 publications including articles in academic journals and conference proceedings.
