Corinne Ammann

Corinne is a physiotherapist and postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Children’s Rehab of the University Children’s Hospital Zurich in Switzerland. Her research focuses on the evaluation of active therapeutic interventions and clinical gait assessments in pediatric neurorehabilitation. Further, she firmly believes that involving patients and their families in the research process is crucial for relevant and meaningful research results. She is the initiator of the XR4ChildRehab project, which aims to develop, evaluate, and implement a playful and motivating virtual reality application, in combination with a head-mounted display, as a training tool for everyday life walking tasks in children and adolescents undergoing neurorehabilitation.
