Mélanie Cogné

Mélanie Cogné is a Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Doctor currently working at the University Hospital of Rennes, France. She also obtained a doctorate in Cognitive Sciences in 2017. Her
current research projects are focusing on the help provided by virtual and augmented reality tools for neurorehabilitation, particularly in the context of cognitive disorders and topographical disorientation.

In her presentation she will focus on the application of virtual environment tools for rehabilitation of neglect, memory and executive functions of patients with brain injury or a neurodegenerative disease and she will present their prospects for application in clinical practice.
