Eoghan O'Riain
Eoghan O’Riain has an Engineering/Project Management background and received his MSc degree in Interactive Media in 2023. He currently works in the MAVRIC Lab (Mixed Augmented Virtual Reality and Immersive Computing) as a Research Support Officer and Virtual Reality Developer. His research interest includes Virtual Reality (VR) / Extended Reality (XR) development, biosensor integration into VR and VR applications in the health sector. He has previously worked on the integration of biosensors into an XR experience using a real-time feedback loops to adapt the content of the experience. Currently, he is developing the Virtual Reality Pacing Experience for Long Covid as part of the Xhalers team. The purpose of this experience is to teach sufferers of long covid to self-manage and plan pacing.
