Enhancing movement

Move VRee developed a Virtual Reality game that therapists and patients can use to retrain motor control and change pain perception. The VR game is based on two underlying principles: enhancing movement and implicit rewards.

Because of the pain, there is the fear of movement, disuse and the harmer hand feels foreigner to the rest of the body. The team is developing a VR game to encourage people to overcome the fear of movement and break the cycle so that they can engage in rehabilitation to maximize function.

Move VRee virtual reality game is particularly designed for chronic pain patients, with a special focus on patients with wrist pain. In addition, the VR game is accompanied by a dashboard that helps the therapist to modify treatment for each individual patient.
