Registrations for the VR4REHAB Covid Rehab Hackathon are officially closed.We are ready now to start the event from 17-21 May!

There was a large number of registrations with participants from 12 countries all over the world.

The participants will have one week to prepare their pitch, with support from the entire vr4rehab team, which has created ad hoc workshops for the occasion. On 21 May it will be hold the final event “Pitches to the jury & Jury decision”  and only 3 of the teams will be winners and will be able to continue with their project and realise at the end of these two years their prototype, for the rehabilitation of Covid-19 patients, to be launched on the market.

Remco Hoogendijk Innovation Manager at the Sint Maartenskliniek said “By using virtual and augmented reality combined with gamification in rehabilitation, our aim is to contribute to the future of the healthcare system. We are convinced that further development of XR will be groundbreaking, as continuous innovation of techniques results in more easily accessible and attractive solutions.”

 Program

The program for the week is well-diversified and stimulating, every day between 14.00 and 16.00 CET you will be able to take part in workshops with experts covering the topics “Guidelines for the development process”, but also “Advice on technological development”, “Implementation in the clinic” and much more. Furthermore, during the week Games for Health is available to offer a coaching hotline to all participants.
